C.S. Lewis Festival Seeks Executive Director

PETOSKEY, MI – Now through Monday, June 2, the C.S. Lewis Festival is accepting applications for a part-time, year-round executive director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and development.

For more than 20 years, the C.S. Lewis Festival has crafted engaging and educational programming for all ages, brought spectacular speakers and scholars to Petoskey, and explored the fascinating life of C.S. Lewis. The nonprofit eagerly seeks a community-minded individual who loves to connect and collaborate to carry on its established work and build its presence within the regional community.

The executive director reports to the C.S. Lewis Festival Board and Board Chairman and is responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction of the annual festival. Year-round work is required to plan and implement the festival weekend and maintain the organization's operations. This position averages 10–20 hours per month, with a highly flexible schedule; however, the three-day festival weekend requires full-time attendance. This is a salaried position commensurate with experience.

To apply, email a resume and a cover letter to cslfdirector@gmail.com. The cover letter should be addressed to Elizabeth Ahrens, Consultant.

Please visit cslewisfestival.org to review the key responsibilities, skills, competencies, and qualifications and to learn more about the 23rd C.S. Lewis Festival. Inquiries should be directed to cslfdirector@gmail.com or call 231-881-7685.

The C.S. Lewis Festival is a donor-supported nonprofit organization. The 2025 C.S. Lewis Festival is supported by the Michigan Arts and Culture Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional support provided by the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation.
