Marketing and Communications Director

The Marketing and Communications Director is responsible for developing and implementing an annual marketing and development plan that will assist in generating community awareness and securing support for the organization and its programs. This key position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the creation of all marketing materials across various mediums, ensuring alignment with agency standards and branding.
  • Assist program staff in promoting their respective initiatives.
  • Provide marketing support for agency events, benefits, and fundraising endeavors across all marketing channels.
  • Create and disseminate press releases, public service announcements, and media coverage within the service area, actively seeking out potential PR opportunities.
  • Oversee the management, creation, scheduling, and monitoring of all content and engagement across social media platforms, email marketing, and website administration.
  • Create the Annual Report highlighting organizational accomplishments.
  • Produce regular newsletters for donors and staff.
  • Contribute as a vital member of the Leadership Team.
Education/Training Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, and email software.
  • Graphic design skills are advantageous.
