Bookkeeper- Grain Train Natural Foods Markets

The Grain Train Natural Foods Markets are cooperatively owned grocery stores that specialize in natural, local, and organic products. We employ between 45-50 great people and reached $8 million in annual sales in 2024. Our Co-op has served the community since 1971. Our downtown Petoskey store moved to its current location in 2002, and our Boyne City store opened in 2013. 

Our Co-op is poised for growth and expansion with growing sales and ownership, respectable cash reserves, and experienced managers. Most importantly, our community is supportive of our efforts. 
 
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to work alongside our CEO to ensure the financial health of the Co-op as we head into the future. This position is an exciting opportunity to join a food co-op readying itself for growth and to work alongside store leadership to succeed.
 
Full-time employees at Grain Train are eligible for health insurance (the majority paid for by the employer), retirement plan options, paid time off, a 25% employee discount, and professional development opportunities. The wage range for this position is $23.23 - $34.85/hr, dependent upon experience.
