McBride Custom Homes is a small business in Petoskey, MI. Our goal is to expand our team of outstanding professionals. This fast-paced, exciting industry is expanding rapidly, especially in Northern Michigan, and we are searching for dedicated individuals who are ready and willing to learn.
Here is a glimpse of the day-to-day tasks you will be doing most often. However, each day looks a little bit different!
Answering incoming phone calls (transferring calls to appropriate staff, take messages if staff members are unavailable)
Greet clients & trade partners as they stop in
Taking new leads (get info from client about their potential project)
Staying up to date with email inbox
Creating new files for jobs
Entering client info into the system
Writing & sending cards to clients, employees & trade partners (birthday cards, sympathy cards, congratulatory cards)
Check mail daily & sort appropriately.
Order office supplies as needed
Keeping paperwork up to date for Trade Partners (Updating insurance as it expires, W-9’s, McBride Trade Partner Agreements)
Lobby upkeep (vacuum if needed, water plants, replenish business cards & pamphlets)
Assist the Finance Department (submit bank deposits & double check accounts payable)
Monitor staff calendars for office meetings & prep conference room (clean kitchen area if needed, put out waters, turn on MCH video, flip meeting sign)
Assist staff with misc. office tasks
Provide basic tech support (contact tech support company if needed)
Arrange company meetings & lunches
Run company errands as needed
