Step into the rich tradition of Native quillwork during a special one-day event at the History Museum. Renowned quill artist Yvonne Walker Keshick, assisted by cultural researcher Heather Howard, will be on-site to share their expertise and passion for this intricate art form.
Throughout the day, Yvonne will demonstrate traditional quill work techniques, offering visitors a rare opportunity to watch this timeless craft come to life. Guests are encouraged to bring their own quill boxes or quill work items for an “Ask the Experts” session, where Yvonne and Heather will answer questions such as:
