The Feathered Pariah. The double-crested cormorant has caused outrage in the upper Great Lakes. Anglers say the birds destroy the fishery in places like the Les Cheneaux Islands where large colonies nest. They want lethal force used against the birds. Critics say that view puts humans and their desires at the center of everything. We will hear from Interlochen Public Radio's Peter Payette who travelled this spring with photographer Sam Corden to some of the remote islands where cormorants breed.
