BAY VIEW, MI - Bay View Music Festival, reputed to be on the the oldest chamber music festivals in the country, will present American rock band Jefferson Starship on July 6 at 8pm as part of its pops concert series. The band presents its impressive catalogue on Saturday night, including the somewhat psychedelic anthem of 1967 entitled “White Rabbit” to its pop radio hit “We Built This City” in the 1980’s
Bay View Music Festival runs from June 16 through August 11, and features pop, jazz, classical, chamber music, and theatrical productions throughout the summer on the campus just outside of Petoskey. The public is welcome to all events offered by the Bay View Association.
