PFAS 101: What you need to know about per- and polyfluoralkyl substances and our waters
Recently, a class of industrial chemicals have been detected in waters across the State of Michigan and the United States. These chemicals, collectively known as PFAS, are persistent in the environment and bioaccumulate. Come hear about what PFAS are and some of the local work being conducted to identify areas to help address a statewide issue.
